The name "The Rusted Hen" was inspired by a garden decoration and my rust-colored hen Leia.  I may share other creative pursuits here in the future, but for now, the focus is primarily watercolor.

I'm Katy.  I hold a BA in Art, Emphasis in Education.  I taught art in public schools for seven years and am currently staying home with my two children.
